Description

Lil' Bitz Chicken & Liver Training Treats for Cats are small, flavorful treats specifically designed to aid in the training and positive reinforcement of cats.

Lil' Bitz Chicken & Liver Training Treats are bite-sized, soft treats made with real chicken and liver. They are carefully crafted to provide a delicious and irresistible flavor that will capture your cat's attention during training sessions. These treats are conveniently sized, making them perfect for repetitive training exercises without overfeeding your cat.

Key Benefits:

  1. High Palatability: Cats are known for their discerning taste buds, and Lil' Bitz Training Treats are formulated to be extremely palatable. The combination of real chicken and liver creates a flavor that cats simply can't resist, making it easier to engage them in training sessions and reinforce positive behaviors.
  2. Ideal Training Size: The small, bite-sized pieces are perfect for training purposes. They can be easily consumed in one bite, allowing for quick rewards during training sessions. The size also makes it easier for cats to chew and digest, minimizing any potential choking hazards.
  3. Soft and Chewy Texture: The treats have a soft and chewy texture, which is gentle on your cat's teeth and gums. This makes them suitable for cats of all ages, including kittens and senior cats. The texture also adds to the overall palatability, ensuring your cat will eagerly anticipate their next training session.
  4. Nutritional Value: Lil' Bitz Training Treats are not only delicious but also provide nutritional benefits. They are made with high-quality ingredients, including real chicken and liver, which are excellent sources of protein. These treats can serve as a healthy addition to your cat's balanced diet while still being low in calories.
  5. Training Reinforcement: Using treats during training sessions helps reinforce positive behaviors. Lil' Bitz Training Treats are an effective tool for rewarding and motivating your cat, encouraging them to perform desired actions. The treats can be easily broken into smaller pieces for more extended training sessions or used as occasional rewards for good behavior throughout the day.

In summary, Lil' Bitz Chicken & Liver Training Treats for Cats are flavorful, conveniently sized treats that are perfect for cat training. Their high palatability, ideal training size, soft texture, nutritional value, and positive reinforcement benefits make them an excellent choice for encouraging your cat to learn and respond to training cues.

Useful Information

  1. Start with a calm environment: Choose a quiet and distraction-free area for training your cat. This will help them focus better on the training session.
  2. Break treats into small pieces: Before you begin training, break the Lil' Bitz treats into small, bite-sized pieces. This will allow you to provide frequent rewards without overfeeding your cat.
  3. Use positive reinforcement: Positive reinforcement is key to successful cat training. Whenever your cat performs the desired behavior or follows a command, immediately offer them a treat and praise them with a gentle, encouraging voice. This positive association will help reinforce the behavior and motivate your cat to continue learning.
  4. Timing is important: Be sure to offer the treat immediately after your cat exhibits the desired behavior. This will help them make a clear connection between their action and the reward. Delaying the treat may confuse your cat and make it harder for them to understand what they did right.
  5. Keep training sessions short: Cats have shorter attention spans compared to dogs, so it's best to keep training sessions brief and engaging. Aim for multiple short sessions throughout the day rather than one long session. This will help keep your cat interested and prevent them from getting bored or fatigued.
  6. Be patient and consistent: Every cat learns at their own pace, so be patient and consistent with your training efforts. Repeat commands and behaviors regularly, and reward your cat with a treat each time they respond correctly. Consistency and repetition will help reinforce the training and establish good habits.
  7. Don't overdo it: While training treats are an effective tool for positive reinforcement, it's important to maintain a balanced diet for your cat. Use the treats sparingly and consider them as occasional rewards rather than replacing regular meals. Adjust your cat's daily food intake accordingly to accommodate the treats.

Remember, training should be a fun and rewarding experience for both you and your cat. Enjoy the process, celebrate small victories, and always prioritize your cat's comfort and well-being during training sessions.

Trying to return or throw away
November 7, 2023
The description for the Chicken & Liver Lil Bitz treats read "small" and "soft." I purchased this because my cat had some teeth extractions and needed soft food. The treats are as hard as rocks, with sharp corners and edges from triangular cuts. My second cat with great, healthy teeth, tried to eat these treats, but also could not bite through the piece and left it uneaten. These treats are not as advertised and possibly defective.

I thought the treats might be too old but the last selling date stamped is July 9, 2024.

Wanted to return, but in addition to postage and handling fee, there is a restocking fee of up to 20%! I don't believe these should be restocked if defective, and I don't want to give away for the same reason. Very disappointed with the brand. One star given because review not accepted otherwise.
