Synacore was first recommended by our vet for our dog's diarrhea. It worked really well, and now we keep it on hand for any flare-ups.

I am so happy with this product. I have tried many different probiotics on dogs over the years with mixed results. The only thing that worked for my current dog's soft stools was Metronidazole but I wasn't excited about keeping him on this antibiotic long term. I gave these a try and was immediately impressed by the improved stool consistency. At first he wouldn't eat the food as he is neophobic (fear of anything new). The light pink powder on his food was strange but eventually he gave in and ate it at night which caused a different problem. He had a few accidents in the house over night so now I only give the product with his morning meal and make sure he doesn't eat after 7pm. This may sound weird but the best thing has been picking up the poops off the landscaping bark outside-no more throwing away bark with the stool because it doesn't stick
