Description
SAMeLQ® Chewable Tablets are formulated to help support normal liver function in dogs and cats. S-adenosyl methionine (SAMe) and n-acetyl L cysteine help support normal detoxification and cleansing of the liver from impurities. Glycyrrhizinate Ammonium (licorice root extract), quercetin and L-taurine are antioxidants which help enhance the immune response.
The SAMeLQ® Chewable Tablets are readily accepted. Dogs and cats love the great taste.

Tablets should be given on an empty stomach.
CAUTIONS: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal's condition worsend or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Caution in use with antidepressants. Caution in use with blood thinners.
WARNINGS: For animals use only. Keep out of the reach od children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately.

Have been purchasing the product pictured for several years. It was amazing. The brand and ingredients have been changed. The picture remains the same on the website. Returned the FOUR bottles I ordered in May well within the 30 days allowed. Still waiting for refund. Still waiting to hear why the original product is still pictured but no longer available

I have older dogs and one dog on pain medication. As a result, my vet recommended that I keep them on a milk thistle product. After doing research, I found this product. It fits the recommendation well and my dogs take it well.

A few years ago, my dog Rocky was diagnosed with Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) It is an immune system disease in which the body attacks and destroys its own red blood cells. We almost lost Rocky at the time. Now, the disease is in the remission. Due to the liver damage, Rocky receives the S Adenosyl 100 (SAMe) every day. As long as he is receiving the drug, he is doing great. A couple times, I missed to give him the medication, and it made him sick. Great supplement. I would recommend it for any pets that have liver issues.

I have an 11 yr old Jack Russell, her liver numbers were not good. After a couple of months on this product her numbers are going down, hopefully she will be in the normal range. Highly recommend this product!

My 19 yr old cat was having lots of problems in early November of this year and was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days. They started giving her SAMe at that time and her regular Vet agreed that she should continue taking the SAMe. At that time her liver function was down, among other things. Today she is full of energy, happy, and she will turn 20 yrs old next month!

My eleven year old Chihuahua has high liver ALT. We switched from a prescription drug to this per our Vet. She does great! Since she has IBS too, I was skeptical. My Jasper (cat) was put on this medication 3 years ago by our vet. I used to buy it at the vet office but now I buy it from EntirelyPets. Same pill for alot less money. My Jasper takes a pill each day for a high liver enzyme and since he has been on SAMe, his levels are purrfect. He is a good boy for taking his pill.

My vet was selling me the Rx of this and it was expensive. I now get this from you and use Pill Pockets to give it to my 9# dog---she takes one every evening and thinks they are treats. Her liver tests have been normal and I no longer need to feed her Rx dog food. I do have to use Pill Pockets to give them to her...hiding them in soft dog food does not work---the pills are too big.

Dr. recommended for my dog due to his high liver count. Actually didn't give him long to live. Well that was in Feb and he's still kickin! I call it his miracle drug. Just one a day. Plus it's a lot cheaper here than at the vet.

This is what the vet gave Karyan when she went into almost total liver failure several years ago. We continue to give this to her since it seemed to work well and her liver functions are now back within the normal range.

I purchased this product for my doggie's liver problem. It has been great to decrease some specific enzymes he had and made him sick. I had to learn how to give the whole pill into the mouth before meals. At the beginning was difficult for him to swallowed it but he learned fast. In two months of using the supplement his enzymes have decreased to normal and now he is a very happy dog again! I recommend this product for its price and effectiveness for problems like my dog had.

My 16 year old kitty has the beginning of liver disease so the doctor recommended Adenosyl. Two months later her liver disease is gone and her liver is fine. I continue to give her half a pill every other day.
My only challenge was trying to give her the large pill once a day. It is extremely large and bitter.

It's not easy to find SAMe in the 90-100mg dosage appropriate for our Yorkie. The vet was right--it corrected his elevated liver enzymes! Only problem is the tablets are rather large, too big to hide in a bit of canned food, so we had to buy Pill Pockets to get Benny to take his pill.

My kitty Archie, ten years old, may be developing some future liver problems. Our vet recommended pills like this with the milk thistle. I started with every day last summer, now we are down to 3 a week. He feels perkier, eat better, and has less throw-up. These are less cost then the more expensive pills from the vet. Thanks so much.

The directions on the package state that the capsules should not be sprinkled or crumbled. Though we advise you listen to your veterinarian- you may want to inform them that these are the directions on the bottle and that your pet does not seem to be eating the powder when sprinkled on their food.
