Description
Zymox Topical Cream for Hot Spots & Skin Infections
The most common skin condition both dogs and cats can be afflicted with are hot spots. They are characterized by itchy, raw, sometimes bloody patches of skin. In addition to managing hot spots the Zymox topical cream and spray is ideal in wound care as well as other common skin infections.Regardless if bacterial, fungal or yeast and they can be applied 1x/day as needed with no pre-cleaning or scrubbing of the skin because the LP3 Enzyme System reacts with the infectious pus and debris to form its antimicrobial properties. Pre-cleaning and cleaning during use disrupts this biological system and will negatively affect results. Zymox is safe, gentle and non-toxic and worry-free if a pet licks application site. Both contain hydrocortisone for inflammation relief.
The topical cream features a catheter tip which is ideal for hard to reach applications such as skin folds.
Recommended for use on wounds and the most troublesome skin infections.

Great OTC Treatment for Skin Issues
January 21, 2017
This is the best product for helping with itchy skin issues, whatever the cause. My dog gets staph flare ups on her belly, and at the base of her tail she is prone to yeast infections. When I see trouble starting, I rub this onto her skin at the problem area, and then see how relieved she is of symptoms. Do not wash area before, just as stated on the box and the tube. This really works!!! I have also tried their otic solution for her ears, and that works very well also! Small costs to pay for such incredible relief!

My Staffy developed a skin irritation/sores between her toes and was constantly licking them. I tried this cream and after the first day, I could see that her sores were getting better. After about a week, they were totally gone! The cream is a little greasy, but IT WORKS! And, it didn't irritate my dog's sensitive skin. Great product to keep on hand.

Excellent product

My senior dog had developed three or four scabs on lower stomach near privates. Did some research and it sounded as if she may have a staph infection. This Zymox product said it was effective against staph and MRSA. Applied daily and it's very sticky so they can't lick it off. Within a week they were gone. My dog is 100 pounds so if you have a large dog you'll need to order two. Cheap and effective, this worked for me. Highly recommended.
