Description
Zymox Topical Spray for Hot Spots & Skin Infections
The most common skin condition both dogs and cats can be afflicted with are hot spots. They are characterized by itchy, raw, sometimes bloody patches of skin. In addition to managing hot spots the Zymox topical spray is ideal in wound care as well as other common skin infections.Regardless if bacterial, fungal or yeast and they can be applied 1x/day as needed with no pre-cleaning or scrubbing of the skin because the LP3 Enzyme System reacts with the infectious pus and debris to form its antimicrobial properties. Pre- cleaning and cleaning during use disrupts this biological system and will negatively affect results. Zymox is safe, gentle and non-toxic and worry-free if a pet licks application site. Both contain hydrocortisone for inflammation relief.
Recommended for use on wounds and the most troublesome skin infections.

This product has worked great so far for my cat who has red itchy skin and sores. He doesn't itch or bite like he did before I started using this. I'm happy with this product so far.

This product is highly recommended. It works well when you follow the directions to the letter. do not wipe paws or infected area clean. apply first, and it's ingredients will act against the bacterial agents that are picked up from the environment.

Good for red skin

My sheltie has skin problems one of which results in sunburned looking and often wet skin in large or small spots on his stomach (may be an environmental problem). The vet can't do too much. Spraying this product makes it calm down in a few days and takes away the wetness. I'm glad I have it.

I have used this product on one of my doggies for at least 5 years; she have a continuing problem with skin irritation, ear infections, fungus issues, etc.
This topical spray works very well to soothe the inflammation and irritation, and help her be more comfortable and happy!
I would also recommend the Zymox ear Otic product for your doggie if ear infections are an issue for you.
I am trying out the Zymox enzymatic brushless tooth and gum solution that you put in the dogs water to help with plaque, and gum inflammation...it seems to be working also.
